Marketplace Components division is leading development of commonly used components of Adevinta Marketplaces across the world.
For example products and services such as Messaging, Search, Moderation, Ad Storage, Personalisation, Trusted profiles and much more.
Currently we employ more than 150 highly talented specialists within the areas of software engineering, product management, UX and big data.
Given the reach of Adevinta marketplaces, more than 250 million unique visitors per month, our components must provide massive scale, high availability and perfect user experiences.

About the Agile Coaches team for Marketplace Components Organisation
The company is already convinced that Agile and Lean is the way forward.
As an Agile Coach at the Marketplace Components teams, you will work alongside a group of highly talented teams located in the hub of Paris, but also collaborating remotely with Barcelona, and London hubs.
Some of those teams are fully co-located and some others have distributed team members alongside our offices. You’ll find people from around the globe, so dealing with different cultures will also be a challenge.
Stakeholders have the same distributed nature, being basically all Adevinta Marketplace global sites.
The Marketplace Components Agile Coaches team is just getting started and this means that there will be room to make an impact on how the team self-organizes.
The Agile Team main mission is to support all Marketplace Components organization to, from a Continuous Improvement culture, drive technical convergence within Adevinta Marketplaces, leading the teams on how to make the move to agility.
As part of the Adevinta’s Agile Coaches community, you could take advantage of having peers around to share and discuss and even pair with them.
Improve teams’ performance, delivered value and happiness by coaching employees at all levels, including senior engineers, product managers, and engineering managers on Agile values and principles.
Increase teams’ predictability while helping them to maintain a sustainable delivery cadence and raise the bar for code quality.
Lead a cultural agile transformation from a continuous improvement mindset.
Help on aligning Marketplace Components goals with the needs of the Adevinta Marketplaces division, cascading top-down objectives to the teams and helping to raise bottom-up initiatives.
Support the management team (at all layers) to foster Agile culture and practices in the Marketplace Components area.
Provide training sessions and teach valuable skills that lead toward the organization-wide adoption of an Agile culture.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master or, ideally, Agile Coach.
Deep knowledge of Agile principles and their different best practices and frameworks.
Proven experience implementing Scrum, Management 3.0, XP or Lean Kanban.
Previous experience working on software development teams in tech companies.
Knowledge of collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and Github (or their equivalents) are nice to have.
Good level on Communication, Coaching and Training Skills.
Previous experience as Technical Project Management or Product Management is a possible advantage.
Spoken English is a must.
The work place will be in the Paris hub office.
