Descriptif du Poste

The Operations Administrator is responsible for the servicing of the required elements to internal and external clients in support of Warner Bros.

Home Entertainment and Digital as requested via regular release / production schedules, availabilities / announcements and ad-

hoc requests. They will utilize various internal systems and tools in order to : track requests, manage tasks, research and track assets, place and manage vendor orders, and enable automation.

  • The Administrator contributes insight and experience and is responsible for tracking and fulfilling all content delivery requirements that may consist of various elements depending on client specifications, platform, market and / or business unit and may include, but not be limited to;
  • picture, audio, subtitles, close captioning, menus, metadata, artwork, graphics, scripts and music cue sheets.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manages a workload of order fulfillment activities which include asset research, request management, order placement with the appropriate vendors (internal and external) with accuracy, timeliness and urgency as determined by various business and internal parameters;
  • management of the order from placement, through completion, delivery, replacement as needed and invoice reconciliation.

  • Works collaboratively with other Warner Bros Technical Operations offices and groups in order to ensure client timelines and quality are being met.
  • Works cross-divisionally and in association with other business units to provide inputs into demand volumes and capacity planning and participates in cross-
  • functional initiatives or other related programs to provide input, knowledge and advise.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree or a minimum of 2 years related experience.
  • 2-3 years of work experience related to content delivery and supply chain logistics. (DVD / BD, internet, PC, set top box, EST / VOD, broadcast, etc.)
  • Knowledge of / familiarity with : Video compression technology, applications, and codecs;Framerates, video bitrates, audio specs;
  • Digital delivery mechanisms;Subtitles and closed captioning formats;Metadata / Artwork requirements, specifications and characteristicsKnowledge of dubbing and / or subtitling workflows a plus

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, as well as with clients / vendors (in person, telephone, written).
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Must have good PC skills including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Must demonstrate strong organization skills with close attention to detail.
  • Must be a self-starter.
