Primary Purpose of the Position
Defines & deploys France Labor relation strategy and policy for french entities. Manages & prepares central negociations.
Responsible for Labour Relations approaches and influences (flexibility, competitiveness, performance ...)
Works with the EMEA LR team. Adjust strategy with EMEA HR policy. Ensures appropriate actions to deploy the LR Strategy with the agreement and in cooperation with the business leaders and the Entity Directors.
Ensure the long term implementation of the HR social projects and negotiations.
Implements and maintains France LR programs, policies and procedures. Manages all LR activity across the organisation effectively, efficiently and effectively always operating at a high-level standard.
Advises to all the HR and Management teams on every French labor law aspects. Ensure the link with lawyers teams and facilitate decisions of the entity Director on HR and LR topics.
Ensure and develop Labour Relations and Labour Law knowledge / expertise in all the Labour Relations and Human Ressources teams.
Assures a high level of maturity in the organisation.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Labor Relation Management and organization. Works with unions and work councils. Manages negotiation at France level
Manages Labor Relation teams. Advices and inluences HR Entity Manager. Is responsible of Training and development of HR Teams on legal and Labor relation items.
Leads the Labor Relation strategy in coordination with LR EMEA and France Manufacturing HRD. Manages the Labor relation approach of the HR and Entity Managers.
Support, prepares and manages Social projects at France or entity level. Manages special and complexes changement which have a Labor relation or social impact.
Is responsible of Labor law expertise. Has the responsibility of the maangement of the litigations. Is the contact for the lawyers.
Master’s degree in business or HR Management with a focus on labour law or equivalent field of study
10+ years of Labour Relations experience in a multinational fast paced matrix organization
Experience in commnication (internal and external) and
Strong experience in managing relationships, partnering, and negotiating with French Works Councils and Unions
Experience in leading and delivering LR projects, e.g. restructurings, transfers of undertaking
Preferably affinity / experience with / in manufacturing related environment
Knowledge and Skills
Labor law background and in depth knowledge of French employment legislation is a must
Good balance between hands on / strategic experience.
Knowledge of CBA's in France and central negotiation capability
Strong ability to proactively identify problems and conflicts and to resolve them with calm and serenit
Business acumen : strong business and analytical skills with stargegic end-to-end view
Project & change management skills : ability to lead cross-functional teams. : resolving conflicts, communication

Able to persuade and motivate teams, with credible presentation style - Team player with capacity to lead teams
Excellent communication skills to gain trust with superiors, associates, and stakeholders alike
Ability to speak and write in English and French fluently on negotiation level
