About this role

As a National Instruments account manager, you will lead our sales effort with a small number of key automotive OEMs and Tier 1s across France.

In this role you will grow your business acumen and strategic sales capabilities through multi-level engagements within the customer organisation which identify areas of alignment between the customers business needs and our current and future product portfolio.

Through individual action and deploying extensive company and partner resources, you will regularly qualify, advance and win sales opportunities while tackling and overcoming tough organisational and competitive challenges.

What you get to do with our team

NI Account Managers spend the majority of their time :

  • Planning and executing account development initiatives to generate demand in identified areas of greatest opportunity
  • Consulting with customer engineers and leaders to understand and address their technical and business requirements with the best NI systems and services that meet their needs
  • Managing and closing sales opportunities discovered as a result of account initiatives through collaborations with partners and internal NI resources
  • Networking and discovery within assigned accounts to engage with new groups, create and sustain valued relationships with customer leadership, and identify new qualified sales opportunities
  • Qualifications

  • University background in engineering or equivalent on none technology (MBA, etc.)
  • Proven field sales experience (5+ years)
  • Language requirements : French (native or equivalent) & English (business)
  • You thrive on understanding and solving customer challenges
  • Your combined technical knowledge and business acumen provide unrivalled value to your customers
  • Your thorough planning and qualification allow you to priorise high impact areas to focus within your accounts
  • You are a team player who is able to engage collaborators within NI with application and technical specialisation
  • You are able to sell your customers needs and business potential to key decision makers within the company to influence product roadmaps
  • You are able to diligently manage a high value opportunity pipeline
  • Your deep customer knowledge enables you to provide accurate forecasts to the business
  • You consistently get the job done, exceeding your quota and delighting your customers
