Purpose of Role
As the face of our haircare brands the Training Manager will drive the conceptualization, initiation and development of Haircare Brand Education content, programs and materials.
As a passionate education expert and strategist you will be leading the creation of differentiated and compelling education content that ignites passion for our haircare brands across both online and offline channels.
Structure and deliver all operational education related needs for haircare brands, alongside presenting the brand to internal and external partners (both online & face-to-face delivery).
Conceptualise, own and develop the education content strategy establishing global consistency, considering local market needs and channel specific needs;
ensure programs and formats are results-driven and interactive.
Deliver digital content development, delivery tools and execution. Ideate, develop and contribute to 360 activation plans to articulate brand and product storytelling, product innovation, artistry and client service.
Drive, conceptualise and develop an online training programme for haircare brands using Youtube / social channels as main point of consumer marketing
Support the overall haircare category strategy and partner with individual brand owners to ensure on brand’ customer experience.
Strategize and ensure excellence in execution within all training programs and initiatives.
Work with cross-functional departments to develop and reinforce KPIs and continuously communicate opportunities for hero’s and big bets.
Develop strategic education programs that translate brand insights into meaningful, on-brand education initiatives; ensure that market-specific and cultural needs are met within programs
Identify and prioritize learning needs of specific retailer employee segments to create training solutions to enhance brand and product passion
Train Field Sales Teams on product knowledge, advanced haircare application techniques, and selling behaviours, functioning as a resource and leader, providing product and sales expertise
Lead, develop, train and motivate the sales and customer service representatives / teams.
Develop specific tools and training programs for all salons partners (For Christophe Robin).
Stay current with technology and digital trends within the haircare education environment.
Ensure in partnership with retail and salons the successful launch, sell through and feedback of all new NPD, promotions and seasonal collections.
Train internal new hires
Connect, develop and feedback customer / brand insights to product development teams for NPD ideas / concepts
Conceptualise and deliver PO proposals for annual budget approvals (i.e. travel expenses, admin support, content delivery, etc.)
Key Account Manager / Director / Head of Sales
Finance / Purchase Ledger
KPIs / Deliverables
Brand Sales performance (tracked through CS codes, social, online consultations, etc.)
New Business ££ secured from pitch presentations
NPD sales performance from consumer lead insights / NPDs created by NTM
Internal brand awareness / consistency across wider departments
Experience in a similar role is essential
Ability to cope with the pace and pressure of a fast-paced working environment
Strong stakeholder management skills
