Within the role you will be responsible for the following;
Providing support in DFI projects, during the development, tender and operational phases in relation with the PM;
Providing technical advice to clients as part of a project team, working on schemes through all stages of a project inception and procurement;
Developing knowledge of fundamental project issues for a range of sectors;
Contribution of specialist sector knowledge for tender document preparation and technical due diligence;
Preparation of proposals;
Management of projects, including financial, technical and contractual matters and compliance with internal quality procedures and directives;
Maximising profitability of projects, monitoring against budget, reacting to and anticipating potential problems;
Assisting with business development activities;
Collaboration, ownership and development of relationships internally within the Mott MacDonald infrastructure finance practice network.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience :
Good understanding of DFI & Project Finance Industry sector;
Ideally hands-on experience in DFI, Project Finance or Investment banking sector;
Possess excellent French & English oral and written communication skills.
Possess a recognized Master’s degree in business school or engineering;
Positive attitude, team player.

A self-starter comfortable in taking initiative and responsibility;
A good verbal communicator and ability to prepare precise and clear written reports;

A willingness to travel and work on a short-term basis in countries across France, Europe and Francophone Africa (sometimes at short notice) as required;
Well organised, with strong planning and management skills.
Education and professional Membership
Master Degree in a related discipline (business, engineering, architecture, finance, )
A post-graduate degree in a related discipline would be advantageous
We are looking to recruit an individual to support the Project Finance / advisory team and act as Project Manager
The successful candidate will lead the continued development of the Mott MacDonald advisory team in France and Francophone Africa.
Our current team has had excellent success in establishing Mott MacDonald in Project Finance industry & advisory. We therefore consider that it is the right time to further invest in our business and recruit an individual to build and develop on these existing mandates and enhance DFI activities development.
Further to the above, Mott MacDonald France offers advisory services in lenders technical due diligence, market research, pre and feasibility study, PPP advisory, etc.
