Job summaryAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop enhancements to, and maintain, the core components of both Scality’s storage solutions, RING and Artesca Xcore.
You will be involved in enhancing the overall performance of the products, be part of the general validation and quality process and participate in designing new key features needed for the products.

Responsibilities
Participate in the design and the implementation of new features
Monitor and enhance overall performance
Reinforce our testing coverage and quality
Help delivering new versions of the products
Help integrating new features in the CI
Interact with other team members and other teams
Assist our Technical Services team in identifying and fixing fields issues
Desired profile
At least 5 years of experience
Devops mindset, able to code, understand and check how the code behaves on production
Curious and open minded, willing to learn, problem-solver
Able to self-direct, but not afraid to ask questions
Able to manage a complex feature from design to implementation
Able to pursue any technical lead, and to ask when facing a difficult situation
Key skills
Familiarity with Linux systems and monitoring tools (netdata, iostats, perf )
Strong knowledge of C programming language
Good knowledge of Go programming language
Good knowledge of Git and github
Able to help new features designs
Able to learn and work on kubernetes deployment
Bonus skills
Good speaker (for presentation)
Experience with CI
