LEOSPHERE, founded in 2004, is the world leader in ground-based and wind turbine-nacelle mounted Lidar (Light Detection and Ranging) equipment for atmospheric observation in Paris, FRANCE.

The company designs, develops, manufactures, sells and services turnkey remote-sensing instruments for wind measurement and aerosol characterization.

Leosphere, a Vaisala company, employs altogether 125 professionals who together build high-technology solutions for atmospheric observations.

Mission :

As part of the constant growth and development of our activities in the wind energy market, Leosphere is recruiting a "Marketing & Sales Support", in order to strengthen our "Wind Energy Business" team in Paris, FRANCE.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Offering, you will be in charge of supporting :

  • Support the M&O and Product Managers with analysis of market, competition, use cases and customer situations
  • Support Sales / Bus dev people with product and value proposal knowledge in order to facilitate the lead generation and contract closing
  • Support customer Technical Support and specific customer needs directly
  • Your missions cover all Lidar wind measurement products that are used for the wind industry. These are vertical profilers used mainly in the prospecting phase of a site's wind potential, horizontal Lidar installed on wind turbines to measure and improve their performance, offshore Lidar deployed on floating buoys, and finally long Lidar scope and scanning for multiple operational and research applications.

    The main customers are wind turbine manufacturers, developers and operators of wind farms and service providers. Your key responsibilities include

  • Perform market trends analysis, competition analysis and customer experience analysis
  • Participate in the production of application cases, business cases and scientist proofs (Sales kit for Vaisala / Leo / Distributors / resellers)
  • Perfectly know product specifications, applications and value proposition to train and support Sales / Bus dev people (for specific questions, calls for tender, customer meetings ), customer Technical Support, or customer specific needs directly
  • Manage enterprise content and knowledge management (for instance build and enrich FAQ for internal and external usage) Who we are looking for
  • Engineering / MSc Degree, if possible, specialization in Renewable Energies, if possible specialization in strategic Marketing
  • Minimum 3 years experiences required in a similar position.
  • Plan trips abroad (Europe, North America, China, Asia).
  • Technical knowledge and skills :

  • Strong orientation in market, customer and application
  • Strong market , customer and application orientation
  • Interested in technologies, sensors and (wind) data
  • Knowledge of Wind Energy industry required
  • Language : Fluent English
  • Soft skills :
