At TechnipFMC, we deliver critical projects of a scale, scope and difficulty that you simply won’t find anywhere else. We are looking for a Project Procurement and Subcontract Manager - Subsea who can join our multicultural team in Paris.
Within the Supply Chain Department, you will directly report to the Procurement & Subcontract Subsea Director.
Main responsibilities :
During the proposal phase, you will be in charge of cost estimation of all equipment and subcontracted services necessary for the smooth execution of the project.
During the contract execution phase, integrated into the project team, you will manage a team of purchasers and sub-contracting engineers in charge of :
Creating supply Chain plan and its related documents.
Managing relations with the company and sub-contractors.
Auditing and assessing the companies.
Preparing tenders as per the technical specifications
Getting the offers analyzed by the various services and compare them;
Negotiating the technical and commercial conditions.
Advising the company on project management in accordance with costs and installation planning et sea.
Awarding the Purchase order and / or subcontract and finalizing the contract documents
Managing the Purchase order and / or subcontract by ensuring that the companies respect their duties; in line with the series of operations at sea.
Managing the disputes / claims of the companies until the contracts closure;
Assessing the subcontractors at the end of the project and provide feedback to the Subsea Supply Chain Department.
Providing reports to the Project and Supply Chain team.
You are meant for this job if you have / are :
Higher technical or Business training preferably.
Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role in an engineering or construction company with ideally minimum one year of experience in one of the following activities :
Project management in an international environment.
Dynamic and adaptable to multicultural environment
Self-drive and autonomy
Fluency in English
