Job Context :

The industrial improvement program (I-Cube) is an initiative of the Imerys group to drive operational excellence (OPEX). With this program, Imerys wishes to build a lasting dynamic to improve the performance of its quarries and plants.

Based on the Glomel site, the continuous improvement engineer is in charge of the deployment of the I-Cube program and leads the implementation of the best practices identified in our reference documents.

Among its responsibilities are :

Monitoring of savings generated by the site : Act as a facilitator for the identification of optimization avenues for each service.

Assist department heads in quantifying the savings generated and organizing the implementation of monitoring KPIs. Ensure the consistency of the savings declared to the financial functions Produce monthly savings reports.

Project management : Personally manage and implement 1 or 2 major plant improvement and development projects while respecting the group's standards.

Compile and update the list of site projects. Assess their technical and economic relevance in order to prioritize them Sequence projects over time in order to define the site's roadmap in line with the group's strategy Act as a PMO (Project Management Officer) vis-à-vis the project managers to ensure consistent and frequent monitoring on the Cost Time Quality axes Assist project managers in monitoring projects, identifying deviations from commitments, regularly reporting on project progress, and establishing feedback sheets at the end of the project

Safety and technical study and improvement : Propose and size equipment allowing the optimization of installations in full compliance with the group's safety rules (automation, instrumentation, etc.

Audit regularly, and according to an annual schedule, the safety and efficiency of equipment to improve the performance of installations (for example, audit of crushers every year, etc.

Define targets by workshop with the site management team, identify nominals by equipment and determine the reasons for deviations and deviations from objectives, targets and trends.

Propose and implement preventive and / or corrective actions (for example on workshop flows, energy consumption, dust emissions, etc.

Propose workshop modifications and / or improvements and write the specifications by integrating the group's safety requirements.

Be the support of the TN team for implementation. Other : The Continuous Improvement engineer may be required to work on various missions and projects depending on the news and the needs of the service.

He may be required to travel to other factories in the group for benchmarking purposes, support for other champions, certification process for champions, etc.
