The Global Commercial Training & Education Leadership and Selling Skills Content Developer is responsible for producing and maintaining leadership and selling skills content for both the NAVIGATE platform and local Leadership Coaches to deliver in market.
This leveled and progressive content shall be aligned to Smith & Nephew's global sales force competency models, and global sales force training curriculum - with the ultimate drive towards a highly competent, certified sales force.
Works with internal stakeholders such as HR, Sales Leadership, the Content Development team, Instructional Designers and others to determine organizational priorities for skills and leadership learning content development in accordance with global curriculum.
Conducts needs analyses and completes learning / curriculum plans Conducts design sessions with subject-matter experts such as HR, Global Marketing, Sales Leadership, etc.
to design a global strategy and curriculum for leadership and selling skills, dovetailing with existing programs (i.e. Pioneer) to align content to desired outcomes (20%)
Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to produce learning assets and provides source files for learning content to the global repository.
Examples of learning assets : Micro Learning assets, traditional SCORM content, assessments, gamified content, certifications, classroom role plays, simulations, hands on learning activities, virtual classrooms, webinars and live simulcasts, etc. (40%)
Conduct train the trainer sessions with local Leadership & Selling Skills coaches (10%)
Maintain an open line of communication with local Leadership & Skills coaches to solicit feedback, experiences, and make adjustments, modifications and enhancements to the curriculum and content (5%)
Works with local Product, Skills & Procedure coaches, sales leadership and system administrators to develop and enforce any rules for remediation (5%)
Develops appropriate reporting for training program (5%)
Conduct periodic field rides / work in the field with local Leadership and Skills coaches to maintain current on realities of rep & sales manager day-to-day (10%)
Conducts after action reviews to determine training effectiveness (5%)
