    1 / Demand Planning

  • Analysis and optimization of production lead-times
  • Manage liability to guarantee the supply plan requested to the factory is covered by a customer commitment.
  • Identify major forecast variation and monthly review with the sales account manager.
  • Implement the logistics for each customer.
  • Enter the demand / forecast plan in the SAP system.
  • 2 / Supply Planning

  • Define the supply plan from each factory, taking into account the supply chain parameters : stock target, production capacity and supply chain lead times
  • Procurement and planning for international Supplies
  • Review and validate the supply chain requirement with the factory for the short-term and medium-term taking into account industrial capacity.
  • Identify constraints and deviations versus the standard production capacity and materials supply lead-time.
  • Proactively escalate any risk or potential delay on the plan.
  • Monitor the factory performance via the communication of the agreed key performance indicators
  • 3 / Import and distribution management

  • Define the weekly shipping plan with the factory to reduce transportation cost while ensuring a timely delivery to the customer
  • Give instructions to the logistics provider to ensure a fast and efficient delivery to the customer while meeting the customs and accounting regulations
  • Define the invoicing requirements with the forwarder and realize the invoicing control and adjustments if needed.
  • Forecast exceptional transportation cost (air).
  • Guarantee customer commitment on air freight cost and invoice the extra fee
  • 4 / Customer Complaint Management

  • Manage customer complaint at the cost for ABSE securing the re-invoicing of quality impacts of logistics and industrial partners when appropriate.
  • Prepare the approved performance indicators.
  • 5 / Transport & Logisitic Management

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order transport cycle
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements
  • Accountability including KPIs

  • Guarantee inventory levels are right-sized and accurate.
  • Guarantee supplier performance.
  • Guarantee cost stability and cost savings.
  • Profile (Experience & qualifications)

    Experience and education

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field. 3-5 years’ experience production planning / transportation / customs
  • Understanding of industrial constraints and organization
  • Experience in managing logistics partners and ability to negotiate.
  • Experience in retail will be a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Computer literate, Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Knowledge / Technical Skills

  • Ability to communicate efficiently and positively with customers while securing ABSE interests and profit.
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Knows how to promote customer’s interest internally to reach expected delivery dates.
