What you will do :
Based in Mapp’s Paris office, reporting to the Director, Account Management and Customer Success, the Account Director will be responsible for a strategic portfolio of services accounts in both name (brands, agencies or partners) and / or revenue.
This role holds responsibility for achieving revenue goals and assigned quotas, account retention, customer health, relationship development and management, and revenue growth for all assigned accounts.
Depending on business need, this role may also manage a team of 1-4 account managers or other support staff.
Responsible for managing, retention and growth (quota) on assigned account portfolio
Responsible for developing, implementing, and gaining product adoption and employing other retention strategies for assigned portfolio
Managing and understanding Customer needs for both Product (Mapp’s technology) and Services (daily, consulting, and professional services)
Having command over decision making hierarchy and thorough insight and relationships with key Client-side contacts
Knowledge of Client-side technology ecosystem with proactive assessment and regular proof points regarding potential needs
Regular opportunity analysis and land and expand’ strategies with each key Customer in portfolio
Develop specialized / tailored product and services marketing / communication strategies, partnering with local teams and the global marketing organization for any accounts labeled strategic
Support as requested RFP and RFI responses (for existing business)
Attend external events and networking opportunities to establish key contacts, including developing and delivery thought-leadership presentations
As applicable, provide day-to-day leadership to direct reports
The assets you bring to the team :
Degree in marketing, advertising, communications, computer science or engineering with a very good understanding of the associated technologies; MBA preferred
7 -10 years account management, sales, and / or marketing experience
Proven track record of establishing and meeting deadlines
History of meeting or exceeding quota or sales and retention targets
Data-driven with a commitment to process; drive / track consistent process improvement
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture
Excellent interpersonal skills
Creative thinker with the ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
