Key tasks

We are recruiting a Senior Software Category Buyer to join the Corporate Indirect Procurement Organization. Based at the Accor Headquarter in Issy les Moulineaux, the role will report to the IT and Digital service Purchasing Director.

As a senior strategic buyer you will be responsible for sourcing IT solutions and services, and will be in charge of the Software Category, mainly supporting Business Software solutions.

You’ll be in charge of the relationship with stakeholders and selected suppliers, drive the design and execution of the Software category strategy and ensure its execution.


  • Develop, drive and execute purchasing specific category strategy
  • Partner with IT stakeholders and influence to share same vision
  • Monitor, forecast and define priorities of upcoming levels of demand
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
  • Run RFPs from data collection, commercials definition to contract negotiations
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking. Define cost optimization levers & realization plans
  • Set Strategic relationship with reliable suppliers
  • Manage global suppliers’ performances to drive optimum services efficiency.
  • Measure category performance and compliance to standards.
  • Implement watch of innovative technology
  • Requirements :

  • Relevant Experience : 6 years minimum of purchasing experience
  • Strong Purchasing expertise in IT & Digital solutions; Software (SaaS, Application Software, CRM , licensing / Software Asset Management).
  • Strong interest in Innovation & Technology
  • Experience in coordination of large projects in international organizations an in stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of Hospitality and Services environment
  • Strong contracting and IT legal requirements knowledge.
  • Educational background : Business Administration, Commerce, Master2
  • Personal skills :
