Purpose of the Job

The Process Leader is accountable for the reference process formalisation and the associated : operational KPI, organisation chart, job descriptions.

He is responsible to define the non recurring costs model and to evaluate the process efficiency in terms of schedule and resource consumption.

He participates to the process transformation toward a parallel process driven by development maturity & risks management.

He participates operationally to operational projects, for 1 / 3 of his time.

He manages a process Engineer responsible for the process formalisation.

Position in the Organisation

Hierarchical & Functional Reporting : Central office Train design Development logic manager

Network & Links : Central and Sites Quality organisation; Central metiers (Eng. and non Eng.); project teams

including schedule managers

Accountable for the :

  • Formalisation of mechanical integration : processes, operation KPI, organisation chart and job descriptions
  • Transmission of the above to Engineering sites, consolidation of their REX, continuous improvement
  • Availability of an intermediate version of the above, allowing to drive POCs (Proof of concept) and answer to sites requirement, in between two reference versions.
  • Coherency and compatibility of the above with the quality insurance referential
  • Definition of the limits between process and work instructions
  • Responsible for the :

  • Definition of Mechanical Integration processes, related data models, baselines contents, operation KPI, non recurring cost model, organisation chart and job descriptions (with support of other metier leaders).
  • Evaluation of process and process changes efficiency in terms of lead time, resource consumption, critical resources consumption
  • Production of training material and providing training
  • Answer to audits
  • Participate to the :

  • Internal audits (as auditor)
  • Definition of development logic principles and appropriate governance between metier & project
  • Knowledge & Experience

  • 5 years experience, including 2 in railway industry
  • Experience in integration scheduling, at project or preferably engineering level
  • Experience in process mapping and knowledge of BPMN language
  • Structured and organised with Hands-on approach.
  • Communication skills
  • English operational in read / writing and technical meetings.
