As the Retail Training Specialist your main responsibility is to increase the learning quality and efficiency of our global retail operations and create an agile learning culture using a digital learning management system.

Implementing, administrating and developing our Learning Management Platform (LMS) for our global retail operations (stores) with a focus on the implementation across EMEA.

Learning concepts and content for our store employees (retail operation).

Being the main contact for our external partners and vendors and being a representative for retail operation training programs and solutions.

  • Delivering own training programs (face to face or virtual), making presentations to a broader audience.
  • Customizing the LMS platform to our needs, target groups and governance model.
  • Rolling out (Implementation, Communication, Branding & Marketing) the new LMS Platform in global Retail Operations (store network, EMEA focused) and continue developing & administrating the platform.
  • Developing blended learning plans and self-learning online courses with a variety of content types such as audio, video, simulations, graphics, animations, interactivity, and knowledge checks.
  • Creating master content and managing content creation by working closely with subject matter experts to gather information required for content development, where applicable creating train the trainer content for broader scaling in the organization.
  • Being responsible for analysis and reporting of learning activities, learning courses and LMS platform.
  • Being the main contact for our LMS supplier and for our external training consultants.
  • Collaborating closely with HR Department to identify learning gaps and support trainings deliveries, creations and talent development.
  • Collaborating closely with our Brands DtoC departments and GTM to align different internal existing training programs and integrating into retail LMS.
  • Coaching and mentoring of our retail operation leaders with regards to people development to ensure smooth training delivery and execution.

  • Degree in Communication, Education or HR or similar working experience in Learning and Development field
  • Coaching certification or experience in agile coaching as a plus
  • 2 years working experience in retail organization
  • 2 years working experience in Learning and Development (HR Development Department) (E-Learning Course development, blended learning plans is a plus)
  • Experience in delivering trainings preferable in the topics of social skills, corporate inductions, customer service and consumer experience as well as train the trainer programs
  • Experience in creating classroom and virtual trainings, including necessary training materials
  • Experience in project management and leading virtual project teams
  • Work experience in a matrix structure and knowledge on navigating in complex organizations.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, experience with eLearning systems and / or content creation tools is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (German and French are plus)
  • Willingness to travel within in Europe
