Job Profile
Part of the Data Office team based in Dublin but also working with the Porto office, the role of BI-Trainee will assist in researching, defining and implementation of reporting (BI) solutions both within the Data Office and across the company, as required.
Working closely with Business, IT-Dev and Data Teams to establish the current reporting solutions of Euronext along with the future business reporting requirements.
Analysis of data errors and data processes, design & implementation of error reporting solutions, creation of KPI reports in relation to MIFID II regulatory reporting and other areas supported by the Data Office.
Key Accountabilities
Research into BI reporting solutions
Working with the business to establish current and future reporting solutions
Involvement across the full lifecycle of reporting process improvements : requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and documentation
Production of KPI’s and other reports
Data analysis to identify reasons for errors in regulatory datasets
Trouble shooting and analysis of Systems and Processes
Documentation of newly implemented processes
Monitoring of daily KPI’s and escalation of incidents.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
3rd level or other equivalent qualification including information technology, science, and engineering discipline
Candidate must have 2+ years of working experience in a Data Analytical Role in Financial Services
Experience in analysing data and trouble-shooting causes of erroneous data
Proficient in writing SQL queries
Experience working in a cross functional environment and dealing with multiple teams, including business and technical resources
Highly organised with ability to set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and identify risks in order to meet strict deadlines.
Experience working in financial and or capital markets.
