Primary mission

Procurement mustaddress some key challenges that are tightly related to AXA’s ambition : Efficiency,Transformation, Risk management or compliance.

The primary mission ofthe PPOP manager will be to take responsibility for global P2P activities withinAXA Group Operations, including PO creation execution and transformationsinitiatives.

He / she will evolve in a very complex environment (Transformationof AXA with a variety of stakeholders and contributors like Finance department,local Axa interlocutors ad IT teams

Overall, the role includesthe management of French and remote team (in Germany, Mexico and Philippines).The team include near / offshore resources (India and Morocco).

It will require influencing skills and drive as continuously interacting with various teams orstakeholders over which he / she has no formal authority in multiple countries.

In particular, he / shewill be responsible to :

  • As the P2P processowner jointly with Finance, manage and define the right process and control theapplication of it. She / he will follow and update the P2P Operating manual andcheck the controls application.
  • She / he also contributes to Audit issues remediationplan

  • Manage the current OperatingModel for the PPOP team (centralized team that raises Purchase Order creationsfor all AXA Group Operation around the word).
  • She / he takes the lead of the team(around 17 resources onshore and offshore), reinforce stabilization of the TOM(secure recruitments, animate governance and improve KPIs).

  • In strong relationshipwith Finance, identify and define improvement topics in order to optimize theprocess and the resource pool.
  • She / he will have to implement them shortly (newprocurement categories, new version of the lay out, vendors portal .)

  • Contribute to the globaltransformation and change program GO SMART : this contribution will have a significantand concrete impact on users : new PO validation pyramid has to be deployed andcontrol
  • As the Business productowner, contribute to the PeopleSoft executive committee. She / he will define prioritiesin term of enhancement, arbitrate budget and follow BAU activities
  • Manage any communicationsto AXA partners like new entity name change or invoice policy reminder .A road show with vendors has to be put in place with Accounting team
  • Manage the team bydefining individual objectives and support them

    The PPOP manager mustcombine technical and soft skills in a multi-cultural and multi-lingualenvironment.

    Technical andprofessional skills

  • Very good level on P2Pprocess knowledge, in particular PO creation part
  • A PeopleSoftfamiliarity is better
  • Can think breakthroughto challenge old’ way of doing things and define key transformation topics
  • communications skillsand ability to present to senior management
  • Action / result oriented,energetic and positive to drive key activities and transformation initiatives
  • English in speaking andwriting is mandatory
  • Soft skills

  • Used to buildrelationships based on trust and credibility at all levels in the organisation
  • Change leadership,promote and drive transformation changes
  • Leadership, influence,conflict resolution
  • Good ability to listenand Flexibility is a prerequisite as the scope of work can vary depending on demandand priorities
  • Graduate
  • 10 years professionalexperience required
  • Experience in workingin an international environment and ability to deal in a multi-culturalenvironment
  • Experience in an AXAentity to be able to anticipate impact of contemplated decisions on entities(end-users, clients and cross-country dimension)
