In our drive forwards we are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer in Bidart or Bordeaux, France.

As a DevOps Engineer at Sophia you will be working closely with global development teams as their DevOps SME. You will work with teams where all project members are responsible for the entire product suite : from development to production.

You will develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD) systems for these projects, propose monitoring and observability solutions to analyse the performance of the services created and to design and implement new ideas and features to enhancing delivery, shortening time to market and creating a stable SDLC process.

You will also have expert experience in the growing field of Site Reliability Engineering, understand and implement new technology processes and be able to lead and mentor others.

Requirements

You will have demonstrable experience in Dev Ops and Site Reliability Engineering principles and practices. You may also have a degree or Masters in a relevant field.

Experience of continuous delivery and building code pipelines (CI / CD)

Experience with container-orchestration and monitoring tools like Kubernetes, Docker etc.

Demonstrable experience or knowledge of immutable infrastructure, zero downtime, hands-free deployments, dark launches, feature toggles, and release deployment techniques

Experience managing an optimizing the use of code repositories

Experience working in large-scale cloud native environments

Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new technologies

Proven understanding of object orientated coding methodologies and their SDLC

Previous coding experience (Java, C++, R) with scripting (BASH, perl, Powershell)

Hand-on experience with Disaster Recovery, Sustained Resiliency, Change Management and Privileged Access Management

Strong team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

Fluent English and French (spoken and written)
