The Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Supervisor is responsible for developing, managing and supporting the Exyte Group safety and environmental policies and programs.
on local projects in the Technology and Services Team.
This person will collaborate with local Environmental Health & Safety team members, project managers and local Technology and Services (T&S) teams.
The Technology and Services team leads construction projects on big industrial sites belonging to the top leaders of Semiconductor or Pharmacy industry.
The tasks are thus miixing both construction rules and the knowledge of Seveso or ICPA sites standard.
The candidate is a Native French speaker with huge background in French EHS law. Frequent travels shall be required on French territory, depending the needs of the projects.

Manage Company safety on various projects lead by the French Techlogy and Services Team
Assist in implementing Company Global Best Practice / Best Known Methods. Assist in implementing the Company Incident Notification Policy.
Facilitate the Company objective of maintaining an incident free workplace’, promoting safety awareness and ownership on all T&S projects
Maintain contact and coordinate with client appointed project safety coordinators.
Follow up works and coactivity on all T&S projects nationwide.
Ensure project management risk assessments and activity related hazards are completed.
Undertake formal inspection of Company workplaces, checking fire and safety equipment, plant, machinery and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Align with the projects teams to implement disciplinary proceedings where serious breach of EHS regulations or requirements occurs.

Minimum Requirements : 5+ years’ experience in environmental health and safety on projects site.
Minimum of 3+ years of safety experience in a construction environment or in 5 years in a safety experience in other environments (manufacturing, retail, transportation, etc).
Leadership skills necessary to influence others and command their action and confidence during fast breaking crisis situations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate issues clearly and concisely;
ability to prepare and deliver presentations and briefings, for both internal and external audiences.
Ability to gather and critically evaluate information and prepare written documents that clearly and concisely identify the issues presented and their proposed solutions
