Overview
The Business Development Representative's primary role will be to focus on driving revenue growth by generating new business opportunities to fuel the sales Pipeline for our products.
This person will manage the volume of available leads across a wide variety of industries and applications by leveraging advanced phone qualification skills and product, service, industry and workflow knowledge.
Working with technical end users and key purchasing contacts, this person will create new opportunities that allow sales team to cultivate through the sales cycle to achieve both individual and team specific goals.
Responsibilities
Prospecting for new clients via both phone calls and emails at high volume with an eye toward exceeding expectations
Actively seeking out new potential client accounts and making the first contact with those accounts to generate interest
Draft and execute Account Based Marketing / Business development strategy
Successfully execute the outbound calling strategy and meet expectations in terms of outbound calls (including business development and events promotion calls)
Respond to inbound web inquiries and help improve sales efficiency and effectiveness targets
Fully qualify marketing and sales leads and support prospecting initiatives and campaigns assigned
Prioritize and manage the lead queue volume effectively to maximize new sales opportunities
Assign qualified opportunities to sales team by capturing all relevant customer information and sales activities completely into the CRM system in order to advance the sales cycle
Collaborate with sales team to ensure customer responsiveness and attainment of goals
Scheduling demos of the Determine Solutions platform prospects
Working with Account Executives to ensure qualified leads convert into paid clients by getting them timely, conducive information about Determine Solutions’ products
Conducts on-site customer visits with mid-market customers / prospects
Leverage internal resources to develop and expand your lead qualification skills
Qualifications
Demonstrated success understanding business objectives and meeting or exceeding goals
Must be customer focused and highly responsive
Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent phone skills and a high level of attention to detail
Experience working in fast-paced, sales and / or marketing environment
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Proficient working with a CRM system to facilitate lead qualification and advancement of sales cycle.
