Cloud and Network Services is a leading Nokia business group that offers Network solutions on Core, Business and Enterprise segments, as well as Cloud solutions and Cognitive Services.
It is a newly formed business group, that includes most of the former Nokia Software business, Nokia’s enterprise solutions, core network solutions including both voice and packet core, and managed and advanced services from its former Global Services unit.
This unit will also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. Cloud and Network Services (CNS) will target growth by leveraging the industry transition to cloud-based delivery, network-as-a-service business models, and software-led value creation.
Main Responsibility Area
Working on the potential business ideas related to cybersecurity optimization services around Telco, Enterprise, Cloud, IoT and 5G at incubation stage and develop it in a product available towards the market
Developing new security services around Security Investigation & Remediation, Automation, Analysis & Testing, and Security Integration for technologies such as SOAR, IAM, Firewall, SIEM, Deception etc.
Developing new security services in alignment with relevant stakeholders with all the market research, business case, investment requirements, delivery readiness, sales readiness along with all the marketing collateral
Track emerging technologies and market trends in the field of cyber security
Alignment with all the Business Groups and Business Lines on the potential overlaps and synergies of the solutions
Working with relevant team on processes’ development and tools’ readiness
Definition of skill set, tools and processes with full delivery readiness in GSD and ramp-up of resources
Product Strategy (25%) :
Identification of opportunities for security products / services to be launched
Preparation of blue-print, scope and deliverables of product / services including security operation center for offering remote security services to customers
Acts as the product champion and able to evangelize the product vision effectively to senior stakeholders and is able to independently drive to agreement on product requirements and directions.
Use 3rd party and primary / secondary research to analyze the marketplace, customers and competitors to develop and prioritize valuable product features.
Product Definition (50%) :
Follow NOKIA’s product lifecycle management process to develop or enhance Managed Security Services portfolio in line with market demand and bring them to market.
Develop value proposition, business case, solution specification, and delivery readiness requirements
Specify, prioritize and communicate high level and detailed product specifications using written solution description, use cases, operations model, tools and connectivity requirements
Support and coordinate product development activities including engagement with partners
Support and coordinate execution of proof of concept
Project planning and management
Build product presentations for various levels sales, customer, management, etc.
Prepare white-papers on different topics under cyber security
Definition of partner / vendors’ roles, responsibilities and deliverables for various security service offerings.
Preparation of pre-sales and sales material for the service offering
Sales and Delivery Enablement (25%) :
Responsible for enabling the sales and solution teams across regions through trainings, road-shows and portfolio communities.
Develop delivery models and support training and recruiting delivery resources.
Provide clear product positioning information and continued support to help drive revenue.
Must participate hands-on in initial sales and delivery engagements.
Desired skills and experience
Experience required - >
Education Bachelors of Engineering / Technology / Masters Degree or Equivalent
Knowledge of telecom network architectures covering 2G,3G, 4G & 5G
Deep understanding of telecom operation and protocols such as SIP, RTP, GTP, SS7, Diameter, TCP, HTTP2
Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
Demonstrated capabilities on conducting security risk assessment.
Deep understanding of security processes and capability to align them with different security standards.
Hands-on capabilities around industry leading GRC tools like Archer, etc.
Profound understanding of SOC (security Operations Center) processes and setup.
Strong experience of working in conceptualizing, developing or leading large part of Security Operations Centre, backed up by references
Strong experience and knowledge of Managed Security Services business and deep understanding of Telco Operations.
Experience in designing security solutions and architecture along with very good knowledge and understanding of security products and technologies at different layers like network, infrastructure, application, data, identity & access, processes, etc.
Strong pre-sales experience / capabilities in security
Expert understanding of various security monitoring tools and security operations center
Able to work at strategic and operations levels and to move between these levels with ease.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills, should be able to articulate the value of product offering
Able to effectively influence cross functional teams without formal authority
Very strong understanding of security standards like ISO / IEC 27001 : 2013, ISO 22301, ISO27011, PCI DSS, 3GPP, NIST, COBIT 5, etc.
