We are currently seeking a top performing Data Modeller with hands on experience in Data & Analytics to join our successful Insights & Data Practice.

This is a permanent requirement within our Financial Services Business Unit and the successful consultants will be expected to travel.

Capgemini Financial Services requires an experienced Data Architect / Data Analyst with Technical / Management skills in the area of business intelligence, data warehousing, reporting and analytics.

As a Data Modeller with Infosphere Data Architect (IDA) experience, you will be building operational and reporting data models for Data Lakes on the Cloud.

This is a great opportunity to work on a cutting-edge data programme delivering Insights on AWS / GCP Cloud. Working with our Insights and Data Practice, you will be part of a large, multi-

year banking capability transformation.

The range of activities that you will get involved with is extensive and includes :

  • Data Analysis and Modelling using the Erwin, Infosphere Data Architect (IDA) tools
  • Dimensional Modelling and Entity Relationship diagrams
  • Developing operational and reporting data models
  • Experience and proficiency with relational databases (Big Query, Redshift, Oracle)
  • Developing clear documentation to assist users.
  • Clearly communicate complex technical ideas, regardless of the technical capacity of the audience
  • Be precise and attentive to detail
  • Team playing / collaboration with other developers and teams
  • Ensuring continuous professional self-development.
  • Work effectively both as a contributing team member and independently
  • Data Analysis and Modelling using the ERwin tool
  • Range of Data modelling tools, standards and techniques
  • Excellent understanding of relational database concepts, impact of design on performance
  • Working in teams (on and offshore mix)
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
  • Attention to detail and quality focus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced programme environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tenacity in delivering outcomes
  • Resolving issues and working to tight deadlines
  • Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
