This position specifically serves as the principal communications specialist and writer for our CEO & Founder, Jonathan Cherki.

A strong communicator with demonstrated project management skills, the communications officer will be required to seek the expertise of various subject matter experts within Contentsquare to develop CEO communications that are original, factual and reflect our strategic priorities.

They will also need to develop an exceptional understanding of the CEO’s preferred written and spoken style. S / he will also become familiar with the general work that Contentsquare does across sectors in furtherance of its mission to create better experiences for all.

Responsibilities :

  • Create talking points, remarks, Q&As, video scripts and any other deliverables in support of the CEO's appearances, speaking opportunities and meetings (external & internal)
  • Write and / or edit CEO correspondence as well as other written deliverables, including bylines, blog articles and comment
  • Develop and refine CEO Tone of Voice and create original content around key areas of thought leadership to support the executive communications strategy
  • Manage content creation across CEO’s social media platforms and manage accounts as required
  • Work closely with the marketing team to identify the right speaking opportunities and industry events in order to gain exposure for the Contentsquare brand and expertise;
  • Provide support to the CEO before, during, and after speaking engagements and key events (including pre-event calls, briefing docs, rehearsals, debriefs)
  • Work closely with PR team to prepare media interviews and briefings as required
  • As required, travel with CEO to help with content capture, preparing remarks, as well as real-time social media posts
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and company developments, build relationships with peers, and follow financial, government and business news to provide regular reports Work closely with Corporate Comms team on overarching executive communications strategy, planning, and delivery
  • Demonstrate flexibility and be willing to perform varying duties depending on the evolving needs of Contentsquare and the CSquad
  • Qualifications :

  • Bilingual in French / English
  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 4+ years speechwriting & writing / editing experience
  • Strong writing, editing, and copy-editing skills
  • Critical & creative thinker with excellent research skills, ability to develop a point of view and support it with arguments
  • Digital native
  • Excellent communications skills, in both written & verbal capacities; ability to grasp complex issues quickly and explain them in simple, concise language
  • Keen interest in business, financial & tech news, as well as current affairs
  • Excellent networking skills along with an aptitude in extracting information
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills & an eagerness to learn and grow within Contentsquare
  • Strong executive presence and comfort working with and advising senior management
  • Desirable skills :

  • Background in SaaS or Tech
