Roles and Responsibilities
Development and execution of a territory plan
Capture, track and advance qualified opportunities and customer information in CRM system
Build detailed close plans for assigned opportunities
Up-sell and cross-sell on existing customer base
Work with partners to help extend scale, reach and drive adoption
Achieve monthly revenue and opportunity conversion measures
Work closely with other team members to help grow revenue in assigned territory
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or MIS
Diligent, frugal, effective, humble, simple and clear working behaviour
Technology related sales or account management experience in the software / internet / services industry
Strong result driven sales sense with solid technical acumen, and a demonstrated track record of driving emerging / disruptive technologies like open source software, virtualization and Software as a Service delivery models
Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM application
Ability to deploy and scale up the opportunities
Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional team
Exposure to marketing and demand generation initiatives.
A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
